Love the voices of these soulful little girls.

Grilled fresh veggies, a pale ale, and a young summer sunset with your feet kicked up on the back porch - I feel pretty darn blessed right about now :)
My boyfriend’s deployment was canceled about 3 weeks ago. I didn’t start believing it until this past weekend when he told me when he was flying back.
Well I just learned today it’s back on again. So I went from the amount of time left on the left, to the amount of time on the right. I’m excited for him, but this just kind of sucks right now.
The bouquet and card I got my mom today
Happy Mother’s Day to those of you who have kids of your own! Pet moms count too :)
“Ran” the Rave Run 5k with a girlfriend last night. She’s not a runner so we walked about 90% of it. It was still a fun event though.
Ran 6 trail miles this morning at an easy pace. Then hiked around the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum with the ladies in my family as a sort of Mother’s Day celebration for my grandma.
Finished the afternoon in a pile of 4 week old golden retriever puppies! I was in puppy heaven.
Great day so far, but it’s time for a nap :)
5 trail miles for cinco de mayo! At one point a goose was guarding part of the path right where I turn around. My first time passing him, he let me go with a warning hiss. But when I tried to come back he was not having it! He hissed and fluffed his wings until I turned around. I ended up taking the long way back, haha.
Spent the rest of the day drinking beer outside with my family. Happy Sunday!
When you come into my office and ask me how my day is going specifically so you can immediately respond that your day is going HOOOORRIBLE (complete with epic sigh), and then when I ask (out of politeness) what is wrong, you respond “oooh, nothing (second epic sigh)”, please don’t be surprised if I HIT YOU IN YOUR ANNOYING FACE. I can’t stand this behavior. God is obviously testing my patience.
5k after work with a coworker who is running a race with me this weekend (Go Green 5k). I felt kind of silly because we ended up matching unintentionally :p
We decided to run on the course the race follows, which is at a regional park. It was beautiful but veeeery hilly. But I feel good about the race this weekend now that I know what to expect!
