I made beef and barley soup, i’m feeling all kinds of 1950’s domestic, but in a good, I actually chose to do this and don’t feel obligated, sort of way

The only thing I changed was I used uncooked roast beef (lower in fat than stewing beef), uncooked instead of frozen veggies, added corn, took out the tomatoes, increased the amounts of veggies from .5 c to 1 c each, and used loose hull uncooked barley instead of pearl for more fiber content.

okay, it’s settled, tomorrow morning for breakfast i will have ramen (with added tofu and veggies).
I don’t care if ramen is high-fat, high-calorie, and high-sodium; sometimes a girl just has to eat what she wants to eat, dammit!
